Fraud Alert: Scam Phone Calls Reported

Oostburg State Bank has been notified that several business customers have received fraudulent phone calls from individuals falsely claiming to represent the Oostburg State Bank Fraud Department. The number used in these calls is not in service and is not associated with Oostburg State Bank. During these calls, the scammer asks for the customer’s online banking username and may continue asking additional questions.

Please remember:

• Oostburg State Bank will never call and ask for your online banking username or password.
• Do not share personal or banking information with  anyone who contacts you unexpectedly.
• If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately.
