At Oostburg State Bank, giving back to the community is at the heart of what we do — and last week, we had the opportunity to show just how powerful community spirit can be!
Power of Community Week was filled with meaningful projects, teamwork, and the chance to make a real difference. Here's a look at how our team spent the week:
Tuesday: We put on our aprons and worked at Campus Life, cooking 12 delicious lasagnas! These meals were donated to the Salvation Army to help feed individuals and families in need. It was a fun way to come together for a great cause.
Thursday and Friday: Our focus shifted to assembling care packages. We packed essential items to support local veterans and stocked the shelves of area food pantries. Every package was put together with care, and we are proud to support those who have served our country and neighbors in need.
Friday Afternoon: We ended the week outdoors at Heaven’s Gait Ranch, where we helped with spring cleaning projects. From clearing brush to cleaning riding trails, our team rolled up their sleeves to help this amazing nonprofit prepare for a busy season of therapeutic riding programs.
We’re incredibly proud of everyone who took time to volunteer during Power of Community Week. Your hard work and dedication helped strengthen our local community!
